A perfect little picnic
Food is the key to the heart, ok maybe just the key to mine but who doesn’t love enjoying food with a view! Not to mention with your favourite person.
I very much find myself an old soul and believe it’s the simple things and the thought that matter, showing someone you love them shouldn’t cost you a new kidney or cost the planet !
Grab a rug or blanket and head to one of your favourite spots whether it be the local park, beach or national park and soak up that vitamin D
Of course you cannot forget about your favourite snacks too, if your short for ideas don’t forget to check out some of our recipes in our recipes page
Dreaming of a weekend away
Ok so we all cant wake up to the smell of coffee while opening our Juliet balcony to the view of the Eiffel tower, but there is just as amazing places you can get away with your special someone!
In recent months Australia has been through some of the worst bushfires in history. The fires wiped out over 2000 homes and have claimed many lives including over 1 billion animals. Thanks to the amazing hearts of many, millions of dollars have been donated to those who need it most but as communities begin to rebuild they still need our help.
Planning a trip to the effected towns to support local businesses including B&B's, restaurants and family owned shops is a great way to help the communities rebuild and get back on their feet.
Romantic Home Cooked Meal
Having a romantic dinner at home can be much more special than dining out, not to mention less expensive. If you want to plan a romantic dinner at home with your loved one, all you have to do is thoughtfully prepare a menu and set the mood before they arrive.
Try planning a complete 3 course meal including drinks to go along with it. You don't always have to go overly fancy, take into consideration your partners favourite foods often cooking something that they love show them that you have really thought about them. Approach their family members and see if there are any family recipes that might help put that personal touch to the menu.
When planning everything try to make the night really feel personal and about both of you, theme it in a way that is appropriate to your relationship and whom you are as people. But the most important part of all is to make sure you have a back up plan, in case everything goes wrong have your favourite take away on speed dial.
So you thought the home cooked meal sounded like a great idea but your in a bit of a pickle, you cant cook.
